Numerous free utilities are available to retrieve Windows product key from registry. We have already covered a few good tools such as LicenseCrawler and Wi. I have just tried to delete the activation key on Windows 7 SP 1, using the above method but, instead of getting a window telling me that the key has been removed, I get a page of. Option 1: Find serial number for Adobe Acrobat with product key finder It should be the easiest and quickest way to use a specialised product key finder program. Step 1: Download, install, and then launch the iSumsoft Product Key Finder program on your computer on which Adobe Acrobat has been installed.
You can get another product key using your MSDN license and the web page and use it instead - it's an MSDN key and will match the MSDN media you used. I don't recall if products like ProduKey and Belarc Advisor are able to pull an MSDN product key or not - but you are welcome to try them assuming your machine is still up and running (which, given the details of your problem you are referring to, I assume it is.)
In reference to the old issue... Why did you not return and post more information as asked? Also, we are not talking about all that great of a total size - what is the total size of the physical disk involved and what are the partitions it is split into?
Free up some hard drive space and get it organized:
Open an elevated command prompt by clicking on the start orb and browsing through All Programs --> Accessories and right-clicking on 'Command Prompt' and choosing 'Run as Administrator'.
Type in the following in the command prompt:
dism /online /cleanup-image /spsuperseded
... and press ENTER.
The process takes a few minutes to complete, it ends with the sentences “Service Pack Cleanup operation completed. The operation completed successfully”.
Use Disk Cleanup to eliminate more temporary files safely. May want to schedule this regularly.
You can use an application that scans your system for log files and temporary files and use that to get rid of those:
Ccleaner (Free!)

( just the disk cleanup - don't play with the registry part for now )

Those can help you visually discover where all the space is being used. Then you can determine what to do and what to delete/archive.
After that - you will want to check for any physical errors and arrange everything for more efficient access...

The less you have running all the time, the better the things you want to run will perform:
Use Autoruns to figure out what all is starting up when your computer does/when you log on. Look up anything you do not know about using Google (and/or ask here.) You can hopefully figure out if there are things starting when you computer does (or you logon) that you do not need and then configure them (via their own built-in mechanisms is the preferred method) so they do not start up - using your resources without reason.
You can download and utilize Process Explorer to see exactly what is taking up your processor/CPU time and memory. This can help you recognize applications you might want to look into alternatives for and/or get rid of all together.
You can’t do without the serial number while you install, reinstall, or activate Adobe Acrobat (9/X/XI Pro) or other versions of Acrobat. If you are planning on reinstalling or transferring Adobe Acrobat to a new computer but can’t find the serial number, this could be quite troublesome. But take it easy. As long as Adobe Acrobat has been installed on your computer, the serial number has been stored in your Windows Registry. You have some options to find serial number for Adobe Acrobat on your computer.
Option 1: Find serial number for Adobe Acrobat with product key finder
It should be the easiest and quickest way to use a specialised product key finder program.
Step 1: Download, install, and then launch the iSumsoft Product Key Finder program on your computer on which Adobe Acrobat has been installed.
Step 2: Click on the Start Recovery button near the lower left corner.

Step 3: It will quickly find all the product keys or serial numbers for all software product including Adobe Acrobat on your computer and shows them in the list.
Step 4: Click on the Save button or the Save to File button to save the serial numbers into a Notepad. Then you can open the Notepad to view the serial number when Adobe Acrobat asks for a serial number.
Option 2: Find Adobe Acrobat serial number in Windows Registry
At the beginning of this article, I mentioned that serial number has been stored in system Registry as long as the genuine Adobe Acrobat has been installed. So you can manually open Windows Registry to find the serial number.
Step 1: Press Win + R to open Run dialog, type regedit, and click OK.
Step 2: Confirm the User Account Control if prompted.
Step 3: The Registry Editor opens. Navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Adobe -> Adobe Acrobat -> 9.0 -> Registration. There in the right pane you can find the serial number.
Tips: If your Windows version is 64-bit, navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> Wow6432Node -> Adobe -> Adobe Acrobat -> 9.0 -> Registration.

Step 4: But the serial number you can see is a series of encrypted number instead of the real serial number you can use to install Adobe Acrobat. You have to use a product key generator to decrypt the serial number.
Option 3: Ask your Adobe Acrobat provider for the serial number
You can ask the provider from whom you got or bought Adobe Acrobat for the serial number. If you bought it on the Internet, you may be able to find the serial number in your email box.
